SGA makes attempts to reach "lowest commmon denominator"

SGA members excited about upcoming mission trips to right side of cafeteria

Comrade Opiate, news writer

Mt. Vernon- In an attempt to outreach to the social lessers of Mount Vernon Nazarene College, SGA has begun planning of a mission trip to the far side of the MVNC Cafeteria. The MVNC cafeteria, located on the lower level of the Campus Center, has long since been under the effects of segregation.

The salad and potato bar stations have served not only as a physical barrier, but also a psychological barrier discouraging intermixed seating between these contrasting social factions. Socially undesirable student have been trained to sit in their designated region to avoid disruption of the high school hierarchy currently in place on the right half.

Expressing a desire to end segregation the governing body of MVNC, SGA, voted on implementing the social policy of eugenics, it failed by a margin of one vote. Mission trips including drink station runs and ESPN watching are planned throughout the year.
